The reason Austin Mayor Will Wynn and I look so serious in the picture below is because we're serious about helping to make Austin the fittest city by 2010!
During today's Mayor's Luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Austin, the Mayor reiterated his desire and determination for Austin to become the fittest city by 2010.
About 40 people attended the meeting including high school principals, business owners and executives.
Dr. Eduardo J. Sanchez, VP and Chief Medical Office of Texas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, (pictured below) was present at today's luncheon and spoke about obesity and it's burden on our health care system.
Also in attendance was Fitness legend and icon, Monica Brant and Austin Fit Magazine Publisher and CEO, Lou Earle.
