Last Day, Session 33
Today was the last day of Session 33 (Sept 2 - Sept 26th).
Congrats to all of you for being consistent and making it through!
We're off for a week, see you back for Session 34 which starts on
Monday, Oct 6th!

Session 33, Day 9
Pic of Univ of Texas Baseball Coach, Augie Garrido and me in his Univ of Texas office last week!
Today was:
2 teams
9 cone pyramid overload course
Each team had their own course.
The goal was for either team to have 3 members complete the course first.
Each cone was 20 reps.
Exercises were Prisoner squats, jumping jacks, squat jumps.
No one finished in the available time so we finished with a tug of war to break the tie.
Team "KJ" took it today!
This course was intense but, man, what a workout!

Be On The Look Out For Our TV Commercial!
We had a film crew at our location on Monday, September 8th filming a TV Commercial.
The commercial will run in different markets in the area and will begin airing soon.
The commercial will highlight:
Children's tumbling and self defense
Our FullForceFitness Coed Boot Camp
MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)
and more!
As my son, Dalton, and I were leaving the shoot.
Dalton began to get upset (he's 5 years old).
I asked him what was wrong to which he replied "I wanted to get into the cage!"
The cage is where the MMA's spar and fight.
Since the cage was being used, I told Dalton that he could go in another time.
(Some people cry because they HAVE to go in the cage)
Anyway, there was a great turnout for the commercial shoot - thanks to those who came out to participate!

Team Challenge, Day 2, Session 33
We split the group up into teams of 4 (and one team of 3 people).
The workout was:
100 situps (each teammate chips away at the 100 reps collectively)
80 squat jumps
40 squat thrusts
1 lap (220 yds approximately)
Broadjump 20 yds
100 pushups
80 Burpees
40 Scissor squats
Cone collection (an old favorite)
Squat thrust ladder 1 -> 9
Team with the most cones wins!
Team Meredith wins with 10 cones! (this team had 3 team members - not 4)

P.S. We're filming a commercial on Sept 8th at 630pm - 730pm at our training facility.

We will be doing a "mini workout"
Feel free to come check it out and participate in the filming of the commercial.
Wear gym clothes.
Bring a large towel.
Bring water (water fountain in the building as well).
Bring kids.
